Too many people are typing.
Slack has pretty much taken over the online chat scene from IRC, Gitter and other online chat services, for work-related communities, as well as other groups, such as social communities and hobbyists.
Many still exist and have well-established communities and protocols, but in today’s world, many people are coming to real-time company chat for the very first time.
This site hopes to establish a set of guiding principles – Do’s and Don’ts – of how to use Slack. We have no affiliation with Slack Technologies other than being a user of their products and services.
It is our hope that by providing a public space to discuss and evolve some of these ideas, people get better at using online chat systems, communicate more effectively, and frustrate me less.
